Preparing for Endgame

Well, here we go. Most of us have made our way to lvl 85, and now we're working to gear ourselves for raiding! 

Hobbs has scheduled the first raid for us :D  Baradin Hold! His only requirement is 343 average item level and 10/17 PvE gear. He will explain fights! :D Sign up in game if you think you're ready.

We understand that everyone is at a different phase of the game right now, and we're perfectly comfortable with those of you that want to be casual raiders, but we are looking for some serious dedicated folk to help progress the guild as a whole. Please sign up for whatever raids you can and are capable of completing :)

If you think you have what it takes to lead raids, PLEASE do. We need people like you to take initiative and both schedule and lead raids. 

As well as raiding, we are also looking to get as many guild achievements as we can. We recently completed all of the old-world raids, and are now working to finish up all the BC raids. They are scheduled on the calendar, and are usually rather quick raids because of our levels. Please sign up if you're available!

Cataclysm is finally here! 

First of all, let me congratulate those of you who have hit 85 in the past few days. I, myself am lagging behind at a comfortable 82 xD. 

Now that the guild achievement system is in place, its time for us to buckle down and get some achieviez! 

There is a guild cap for how much we can achieve in a day, however, so keep an eye on that before you attempt anything monumental. It would be beneficial to all of you if you tried to accomplish your weekly reputation cap, as you must be at a certain rep level to be eligible for certain guild prizes and perks.

Try and do some dungeons with some in-guild friends, because we get extra exp from being in a group with fellow guildees! 

We are looking for some people to organize and lead raids once the majority of us are at 85 and gearing up. Gigi hates to see an empty calendar, so don't be afraid to schedule something! Remember, to be eligible for a guild achievement for completing a raid or heroic, you must have an 80% guild group. 

That means:   4/5 for heroics.  8/10 for 10 man raids.  20/25 for 25 man raids.

Last, but no least, remember that the recruitment contest is still going and everyone still has a chance to fill their pockets! 1000g prize guys, what do you have to lose!?

Slayers is having a recruitment contest! 

I can't tell you much, but the rules, prizes etc await you on the "Members Only Page". You may not enter the contest without fully understanding the rules, so please register on the site and view the rules before attempting to win the contest! 

The contest starts December 1 and ends December 16th, so get going! 
Preparing for Cataclysm

With Cataclysm on the way, (December 7th, 2010, in case you forgot!) Slayers is avidly recruiting raid-capable players to tackle the new content that Cata will offer! Specifically, we are in search of TANKS, to complete our 10 man groups. 

We are hoping to have 2 solid 10 man raid teams for Cataclysm's content and want you to be apart of it! Please visit our "Become a Member" Page to join!
